Ufi produce a series of manuals detailing procedures of how to set up and run a learndirect centre – these manuals are essential reference for all head office staff and centre managers.  In many cases, manuals run in to hundreds of pages and are subject to constant revisions and updates.

Project:  - Create an Intranet / content management system that would allow Ufi to author and publish procedural manuals.

• Authors to write the draft version of the manuals
• Stakeholders to comment on the content and suggest revisions
• The editorial team to finalise and agree content

Functionality:

• Creates PDFs of pages of sections of content ‘on the fly’ and supply via download
• Tracking system to identify broken links and advise administrators
• Full W3C compliance / accessibility via ‘high contrast’ and ‘large type’ templates
